About Stormwake and Eidsvik Studio
Stormwake is a one-player naval combat game for the browser, made by Eidsvik Studio, an independent game studio from Norway. We make games that start in a second, run on any device and need no installation.
The idea
We wanted a pirate game where the sea itself matters: waves that lift and push the ship, wind and currents, rocks that shield you from cannonballs, and bosses that are worth the fight. You grow from a rowboat to a dreadnought, and every upgrade you buy changes how you play.
What is in the game
10 ships, 30 weapons, 10 seas, 10 boss fights, treasure chests, ship skins, daily rewards and a shop you can open in the middle of a voyage. The game is free to play.
Updates
Stormwake is updated over time with new content and fixes. Your saved progress is kept in your browser, and updates are built to keep it working.
